Lesson Goal: Students will use a chart to draw conclusions.
Topic – Using a Chart to determine To make inferences.
Students will use the chart to see what types of goods are consumed the most and the least. Based upon what they have learned in health class students will examine these choices by the American Population. They will then make recommendations about how to improve the diet of the American people. Students will inference why the populous is more likely to consume fats & oils over gains and vegetables. Lesson Goal: For students to understand prominent religions of the world.
Students will use the data in the chart to determine which religions are most common in the world. Students will be asked to determine why some religions are on the decline and why others are on the rise. Chart will be modified from that available at:

Students will use data unique to the area from the U.S. Census on population and current businesses in the area to determine what sort of business given the population distribution over age groups would do best in a given area. Data will be pulled from http://www.census.gov/
